Howard Read

has performed his family stand-up act all over the world, and in front of The Queen. He’s been nominated for two BAFTAs for his writing work on CBBC’s Horrible Histories, written for The Amazing World Of Gumball, Danger Mouse, Dennis and Gnasher Unleashed, and his own CBBC series won him a Writer’s Guild Award for Best Children’s Script. He was also nominated for the Perrier Award, proving he’s funny for adults too.

co-runs and is regular host of Comedy Club 4 Kids. Tiernan toured his solo show for children ‘Tiernan Douieb Explains Everything Ever’ all over the UK in 2015 to rave reviews. In 2019 he toured the children’s show ‘How Does This Politics Thing Work Then?’ with Tatton Spiller from Simple Politics. He has written on a number of children’s shows, been the winner of CBBC’s The Slammer and worked as a warm up for BBC’s Dick & Dom.
