Robin Ince recent

In April 2015, Robin Ince announced that he really had to stop doing stand up as he was on the cusp of insanity. Audience’s disagreed with this so now h Robin’s first new stand up show in three years is a clash of two cultures, a joyous romp through his favourite artists and strangest scientific ideas. From the work of Stanley Spencer to Niels Bohr, it is 90 minutes fizzing with ideas about creativity in science and art, as well as asking why we believe we see what we see and why we believe what we believe. But he’s asked if he can do the show with Michael Legge so we don’t really have a clue what he’ll be doing we just know it will be brilliant as usual.

Michael is a stand up, writer, actor, compere, improviser, warm-up and won the 2009 Chortle Best Off Stage Contribution for his blog, and the 2012 Sony Silver award winner for the on going podcast Do The Right Thing. He co-presented the Absolute Radio Sunday show with Dave Gorman. He will be at The Edinburgh Festival again this year with his new show, following the success of previous shows, ‘Tell it Like It Is’, ‘Steve’, ‘Free Wifi’ and ‘What A Shame’. He also performs occasionally with Robin Ince in Righteous Ire, Pointless Anger.

Michael has recently recorded a pilot of Do The Right Thing for C4, with Claudia Winkleman as the show’s host, where he reprises his role as team captain.
