ARTHUR SMITH- PREVIEW OF A PREVIEW

Arthur Smith writes: “Since I am not actually going to Edinburgh til 2024 this show will be an anarchic journey around lots of different ideas and possible titles, including ‘A weekend in Paris’, ‘Falling asleep with Arthur Smith’, ‘How to fart the songs of Elvis’, ‘A brief history of socks’ ‘Hitler’s biscuit’ and “Etc etc etc.” Do come along and help me through the blizzard of maybe laughs.”

SIMON MUNNERY “JERUSALEM

Using  William Blake’s poem (B-side to the national anthem) and The Fall’s take on it as a springboard, Simon will  endeavour to serve up a fine blend of satire, comedy and poetry with one eye on the distant  past, and the other locked laser-like on the future. It’s clearly a recipe for disaster, but what’s wrong with that? Something will come of it, and you can call it art.
